Jennifer Tilly, born on September 16, 1958 at Los Angeles under extremely poor conditions. Her father worked as a salesman and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer being the 2nd child of four, frequently attended theater performances by her mother and was very amazed. Jennifer's parents divorced at the age of five. Jennifer was raised in British Columbia by her mother, who moved with her four siblings. Jennifer even though she'd always been an extremely talented child, was not a very knowledgeable person. In Canada she was the subject of bullying often. She began to lose interest in the theater during her high school years. The mother of her child encouraged her to take on different roles in plays. She was the one who encouraged all her children to discover an appreciation for performing arts. Immediately after that she started acting.
